Overseas Missions Partners

With international partners being supported in several continents we believe in taking an active role around the world. From hands on projects which improve people’s lives through the provision of resources and written materials in their own language through to projects which support those most at risk in society, we work in partnership to bring God’s love in action to people around the world.

We are currently regularly working in support of the following projects and people:

Albania – Shkendije

We support the ministry of Shkendije (Spark Ministries), working with children in Albania. Based in the capital Tirana, and with projects elsewhere in Albania, we’ve been delighted to be able to send individuals and teams to Albania to work with Shkendije and be part of supporting their ongoing work and ministry. Botswana

Two of the members of our church family are currently serving with SIM in Botswana. Their work amongst medical students and local communities is in support of existing work within this beautiful country. Peter and Pam went to serve with SIM in 2024. To find out more about SIM, click here.

Middle East

One of our church members is currently learning language in a country in the Middle East, with a view to serving there long term.

Global – World in Need

We support the work of World in Need International, a Christian charity which aspires to see communities transformed by aid and education. World in Need believes that even the poorest communities can find hope and freedom when they are empowered to rise above their circumstances. India

Our partners in India are focused on the work of church planting in a wide range of communities.

Burkina Faso

Our partners in Burkina Faso are particularly focused on the work of church planting and ongoing training and enterprise development in a wide range of communities. We have been pleased to support projects in recent years where churches have been established in rural communities, each of which is designed to be self supporting and to bring blessing and hope to the communities they serve.

Pakistan

Our global partners in Pakistan are involved in the translation and distribution of educational literature. Their work has supported communities with resources which they would not otherwise have had access to. Their valuable work is bringing light and hope to people’s lives.

South Africa

We support a home in South Africa which provides shelter and rehabilitation for women. 

Local Missions Partners

IBTI College

A local training centre with a global reach, IBTI has long had a connection with The Wells Church. We are pleased to support their work and ministry of training people to serve God in many nations of the world. For more information about IBTI and its ministry click here.

Youth For Christ

With a centre in Tunbridge Wells and many others around the UK, we are pleased to be able to support the work of Youth For Christ locally. As well as financial support, members of our church volunteer to help YFC, and we also are pleased to host events for YFC from time to time.  For more information about YFC click here.
